ChatGPT Connector - Setup Guide

Connect ChatGPT to your Civic IQ account in 3 steps.

Here's how you can connect ChatGPT to your Civic IQ Account:

1. Generate your Civic IQ API Key

Log in to your Civic IQ account and go to:

• Settings → API Keys
• Click + Create API Key, add Name and Description, set Scopes and Expiration as shown below and click Create Key
• Copy and store the API Key somewhere secure.

Keep this key private. It grants access to your Civic IQ account.

2. Add the Connector in ChatGPT

This works on both the ChatGPT desktop app and the web version at chatgpt.com. Steps are the same on both.

Go to:

• Settings → Plugins → Add custom connector (the + on top right)

If you can not see the + icon, please turn Developer Mode on.

Enter the following:

Name:       Civic IQ MCP
Server URL: https://mcp.civiciq.com/mcp/YOUR_API_KEY

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with the key you copied in Step 1. Select "No Auth" and click "Create". No restart needed.

This lets ChatGPT search signals, find contacts, discover contracts, and launch sequences on your behalf.
