Build a Competitor Signal List

Track a competitor's activity in Civic IQ in 4 steps.

Use this guide to build a Civic IQ list that surfaces recent signals tied to a specific competitor. Once created, the list stays up to date automatically as new digest activity comes in.

1. Build a List from Civic IQ

Go to:

• Lists (in the left sidebar)

Then click Build from Civic IQ at the top of the page.

2. Choose "Digest Signals"

In the List Builder, select Digest Signals — this builds a list from the agencies in your latest digest.

3. Select Your Competitor in Target Vendors

Under Target Vendors, click the Select Vendors dropdown, then search for and select your competitor's name.

4. Name Your List and Create It

In the List Name field, rename your list (e.g., "Digest Signals - CompetitorABC"), then click Create List.
